I would like to start with just a little taste of the past that started me down a long convoluted road through the out of doors. My first great connection with the nature formed on the ranch was fishing and it grew from there. Following is our first "dip" in the pond...
“Imagine”
Chris Logan
A silver green fish cuts through the creek,
The bass it is, is very sleek.
Reflecting light as a mirror would,
He lives amongst rocks and hollow wood.
I imagined myself as a fish that day.
I wished that I did not have to go away.
It got cold and it got wet,
I stayed and did not get upset.
I must have died after that,
For where I was I could not have sat.
‘Neath the water sleek as a bass,
I swam through the creek with lots of class.
I swim in lakes and streams you know,
I even swim when I see snow.
When you see some bass swim free,
Please think one bass might be me.
